Why Bush can Lie and Get Away With It.

Thesis:  One of the NeoCon’s core idealogies is evangelical Christianity.  In a religious social exchange/social script is no room for discourse.  Meaning, there isn’t a framework for open discussion where the answer isn’t really understood with two parties trying to come to some sort of mutual understanding.  The paradigm in that context is akin to "This is the answer, there is no why, obey."

So, when Bush and the like do things, they can simply piggy-back on that paragimn, say whatever they want, will be believed, and the answer will not be questioned.  The subject won’t be brought up again, because "it has been spoken".
Here’s my thesis for this paper . . .

The Freedom Tower Tells the World Americans Have No Backbone

I’ve heard so much in the news lately (especially from our leaders) that the new Freedom Tower represents the resilience of the American people.

I wholeheartedly disagree …
Evidently, I’m not the only one who disagrees either.

Donald Trump is actively campaigning to get the WTC towers rebuilt . . . one story taller.

Gena Gorlin has written a very interesting article about the WTC and human beings reliance on symbolism.  She says, "Libeskind proposes that we build a carcass; an empty pretense that is
all words and abstractions, but no substance. If that is the nature of
America?s self-image today, then the worst cynics among us are right?we
are doomed, defeated, done for; the terrorists have won."

No doubt.

If we really wanted to show the rest of the world that we were a resilient and brave people, we’d rebuild the Towers.
