The House approves legislation to shutdown horsemeat industry . . .

. . . and reveals blatant specism when it comes to animal rights.

One of the authors of the bill, Rep. John Sweeney, R-N.Y., said, “What we are exposing today is a brutal, shadowy, predatory shameful practice that borders on the perverse. It reflects on our culture. It reflects on our priorities.”

Mr. Sweeney, I’m guessing that you’ve never toured a factory chicken, or hog farm, nor seen how they are slaughtered.
